Privacy Policy - Spanish Verbs - Conjugator (Verbos.app)

Effective date: 12 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed in the mobile app Spanish Verbs - Conjugator (Google Play package com.s146.verbos, App Store ID 6767875563), in the web trainer and on the website verbos.app (together, the "Service").

1. Who is responsible for your data

  • Developer (data controller): S146, an individual developer based in Spain (the developer name shown on Google Play).
  • App: Spanish Verbs - Conjugator, also called Verbos.app.
  • Contact: khareuka@gmail.com

2. Summary

  • The app shows no ads, and we do not sell your personal data.
  • You can use the app without creating an account. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional.
  • Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your card details.
  • We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to improve it.

3. What data we process and why

3.1. Usage and device data (analytics)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase. It collects how you use the app (for example, screens opened, exercises answered, settings changed, reminders opened), the app version, device model, operating system, language, an app instance identifier and approximate location (country or city, derived from the IP address). On Android it may also collect the advertising ID, if your device settings allow it. Purpose: to understand which features help learners, fix problems and measure the results of our app install campaigns. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the Service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

3.2. Account (optional sign-in with Google or Apple)

If you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication receives your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture link. If you sign in with Apple, it receives your Apple ID identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email (which may be an Apple private relay address). If you do not sign in, the app creates an anonymous account with a random user ID. Purpose: to keep your streak across devices, to apply fair-use limits to AI examples and to link your subscription to your account. Legal basis: performance of the service you request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

3.3. Subscriptions and purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. We use RevenueCat to check your subscription. RevenueCat receives the subscription status, product, purchase and renewal dates, store transaction ID, country and currency, your user ID and the app instance identifier (to link purchase events to analytics). If you are signed in, your email and name are added to your subscription record so we can help you with support requests. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations for tax records (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).

3.4. Learning progress and streak

Your settings and progress are stored on your device. Your daily streak (current and best streak, practice dates and streak shields) is also saved on our server (Google Cloud Firestore) under your user ID, so it is not lost when you change devices. Legal basis: performance of the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

3.5. Reminders

Practice reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Reminder times stay on your device; we do not use push notification tokens. You can turn reminders off in the app settings or in your device settings.

3.6. Support requests

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you.

4. Website verbos.app

The website uses only necessary cookies by default. Google Analytics is enabled only after you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Service providers

ProviderWhat it doesPrivacy policy

RevenueCat, Inc.Subscription status and purchase recordsrevenuecat.com/privacy
Google Play / Apple App StoreApp distribution and paymentsGoogle, Apple

Some of these providers process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep data

  • Account data: until you delete your account in the app or ask us to delete it. Streak data: until you ask us to delete it.
  • Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically.
  • Purchase records: as long as required by tax and accounting law.
  • Data stored only on your device: until you delete the app.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email khareuka@gmail.com. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

8. How to delete your account and data

In the app: open Settings and tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen (shown when you are signed in with Google or Apple). Your account (name, email address and account ID) is deleted immediately.

By email: you can also write to khareuka@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address you use to sign in. On request we also delete your streak data and the email and name attached to your subscription record within 30 days. Purchase records that tax law requires us to keep are kept for the legally required period.

If you never signed in, our servers hold only data linked to a random ID that does not identify you. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. An active subscription is not cancelled automatically: cancel it in Google Play or in your Apple ID settings.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with providers that apply industry-standard security measures. Access to the server data is limited to the developer.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
