Estar Conjugation: All Spanish Tenses
Estar (to be - location, states and conditions) is one of the most used verbs in Spanish and it is irregular: the present has yo estoy and stressed forms with an accent (estás, está, están), the preterite uses the stem estuv- (estuve), and the subjunctive takes an accent (esté, estés). The future, the conditional and the participle (estado) are regular.
